Currently UTC Health Futures, the school is the first University Technical College (UTC) in the UK with healthcare and health sciences as its specialism, offering learning and career opportunities like no other. Based in West Bromwich with our state-of-the-art facilities, the school prepares students for health-related careers in the public, private and voluntary sectors, from doctors and dentists to midwifes and paramedics.
From January 2022, the school is due join Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust and become Shireland Biomedical UTC. In a change to the age range of the school, they will also open for Year 7 students from September 2022.
