Join senior leaders from Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust and its five primary academies on Thursday 2 February 2023, at Shireland Technology Primary, Wilson Road, Smethwick from 4.30pm to 7pm to discover the primary teaching opportunities available in a growing multi-academy trust.
Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, which currently has nine schools in the Black Country and three more due to open in the next two years, prides itself on embracing challenges and adapting to do things differently.
By opening its doors to prospective teachers, it hopes to attract new talent for its strong and growing family of primary schools, which will include two new technology primary schools, due to open in 2024. These new schools, located in Wednesfield and Coseley, will follow in the footsteps of Shireland Technology Primary. As the Trust’s first technology primary, it was designed and built to inspire new ways of technology-enabled thinking that provide pupils with real-world learning experiences.

The Trust aims to provide an outstanding, innovative and inspiring education across its settings. The vibrant curriculum has been designed to excite pupils; it has been carefully created so that pupils will want to dive in and explore our exciting cross-curricular themes. Every half term will start a new theme for pupils to discover.
Sir Mark Grundy, CEO of Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust said, “Education is a constantly evolving sector and as a Trust we pride ourselves on making sure we can adapt to face challenges head on. We listen to our staff and want them to be able to use their expertise effectively and do what they do best – teach. We empower them to do this by providing supportive environments, great facilities and ensuring their health and wellbeing are looked after.
“We are a local trust, and pride ourselves on serving the communities that we are part of. All of our academies are based within an hour’s drive of each other in the Black Country enabling us to offer our staff a variety of experiences across the Trust. We place a strong emphasis on our CPD offering and the collaborative opportunities that staff experience are second-to-none.
“We are a forward-thinking, innovative Trust that makes effective use of technology to make a positive difference to the learning outcomes of students of all abilities. We value learning, and we want our staff to excel professionally and be able to give their best to our students.
“I hope that you consider coming to teach with us and joining us on Thursday 2 February to find out more.”
