Shireland Collegiate Academy has unveiled its new level 2 courses as part of its expanding Sixth Form offering. The courses will be available to current year 11 students for entry in September 2025, with the offer opening to external applicants for September 2026 entry.
Designed to provide students with the qualifications required for progression onto A level studies, these tailored level 2 courses offer a comprehensive pathway for academic success. Students will have the opportunity to choose from up to three subjects, including IT, Business Studies, Sport, and Social Science, as well as resit English and Maths if necessary to meet the entry requirements for their chosen A level courses. This initiative aims to support students who may have narrowly missed the entry criteria for their preferred level 3 courses, ensuring they receive the academic foundation they need to progress confidently.

With a flexible curriculum, the programme allows students to tailor their studies according to their interests, while ensuring they acquire the key skills needed for future academic success.
