Wednesfield Technology Primary marked a special milestone on the first day of the new school year, welcoming reception and year 1 pupils, many starting school for the very first time. To celebrate the occasion, the school created a memorable photo opportunity for families, thanks to the generous support of local business Ashmore Glass & Mirrors Ltd, who donated a front door for children to pose by.
The thoughtful addition meant every child had the chance to capture a “first day of school” photograph outside their brand-new school building, with the option to include Principal Claire Keeler in the picture.
Ms Keeler said: “The first day of school is such a special memory for both children and their families. We wanted to make sure our pupils had a warm and positive start, and we’re delighted that parents have a keepsake they can treasure forever. We are very grateful to Ashmore Glass & Mirrors Ltd for helping us make this moment possible.”
Now in its second year, Wednesfield Technology Primary is proud to welcome new families into its state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly building. With a strong focus on technology and innovation, the school continues to provide children with a modern and nurturing start to their learning journey.
The school extends its thanks to Ashmore Glass & Mirrors Ltd for their kind donation and support in helping to create such a joyful beginning for its pupils.
