Laura Chamberlain, Assistant Principal and SENCO at Shireland CBSO Academy, has been recognised for her exceptional commitment to supporting young people after receiving the Outstanding School Partnership Award from The Albion Foundation.
The award was presented at The Albion Foundation’s second annual Premier League Funded Programmes End of Year Awards, which celebrated the achievements of young people, schools, partners and staff involved in the Foundation’s Premier League-funded programmes.
The Outstanding School Partnership Award recognises individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to supporting young people and have gone above and beyond to build effective partnerships that create a lasting impact.
Laura received the award in recognition of her role in developing the relationship between Shireland CBSO Academy and The Albion Foundation, which has continued to grow over the past two years across all areas of academy life. The partnership has included collaboration with the Academy’s Inclusion and Safeguarding teams, as well as opportunities designed to support students’ confidence, personal development and aspirations.
The Albion Foundation praised Laura for her commitment and professionalism, describing her as “an absolute pleasure to work alongside” and a school partner who “truly embodies our values and shares our mission within the community”.

The Albion Foundation is the official charity partner of West Bromwich Albion Football Club. The registered charity uses the power of football to support communities across the region, delivering programmes that help young people develop confidence, skills and opportunities through initiatives including Premier League Inspires, Premier League Primary Stars and Premier League Kicks.
The Outstanding School Partnership Award was one of several honours presented during the evening, recognising the commitment of schools, community partners and individuals who help create meaningful opportunities for young people.
