Claire Keeler
Principal of Wednesfield Technology Primary
Claire is the Principal of Wednesfield Technology Primary and has over 20 years of experience in education, including 10 years in senior leadership. She has proudly served the communities of the Black Country throughout her career.

Claire joined Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust in 2018, where she played a key role in supporting the build and opening of the UK’s first Technology Primary as Vice Principal. The school achieved an Outstanding judgement in all areas by its first Ofsted inspection. This reflects her strong commitment to high standards and collaborative leadership and has served as a strong foundation for her role as Principal overseeing the build and opening of Wednesfield Technology Primary.
Claire is passionate about early years education. She supports early years provision across the Trust and has a particular interest in early communication and language development, ensuring that teaching is adapted effectively to meet the needs of all learners. As a qualified SENCO, she is dedicated to providing a high-quality, ambitious education where every child can succeed.
Claire is also a strong advocate for the use of innovation and technology to enhance learning experiences, helping to engage and inspire pupils in a rapidly changing world.
As Principal, she works closely with staff, families and the wider community to create a nurturing and aspirational environment where every child feels valued and supported to thrive. She is committed to developing confident, reflective teams and ensuring the very best outcomes for all pupils through a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
